READY TO MAKE SOME MONEY?
Step 1: SEND A LIST VIA EMAIL
An advance list of the books and DVDs you intend to send is required. Only those OKd in advance will be given an inspection for purchase.
Manga Books: $1.00 to $3.00 each
Anime DVDs: $2.00 to $5.00 each
Send that email to HeyAnimeCafe@aol.com
Step 2: GET AN OK'd LIST FROM US.
We'll usually get back to you within 24 hours to let you know what books and DVDs we'll purchase from you with an estimated dollar amount. We have to estimate, because we won't know if all the items are acceptable until we see them.
Step 3: SHIP YOUR ITEMS TO US.
The Anime Cafe
71 Sawyers Lane
Tewksbury, MA 01876
We strongly recommend shipping your package via a reputable shipping service that can be traced and insured. For example, USPS media mail, UPS ground delivery, FedEx ground. Be sure to use acceptable packing materials, as we are not responsible for merchandise lost or damaged in transit. We highly recommend you wrap goods in plastic inside the box to prevent any water damage.
Step 4: WE PAY YOU
We can usually generate a Paypal payment to you within 3 days after we receive your package. Your first contact from us will be an e-mail telling you that we've accepted all your items, or it will include a list of items we will not be accepting. You will then tell us if you want items returned to you. The postage for those items will be calculated and subtracted from the payment. We will then generate a Paypal payment, and place your other items in the return mail, or dispose of them at your direction.
Disposed of books are donated to a local charity book fair. There they will be sold for about 50 cents each. Those funds are then used for a good cause... so you aren't just adding to the landfill... which is a good thing. Damaged DVDs are given to a local artists cooperative for children (and adults) to use in some creative way... just another way to recycle.
